ASSISTANT PROFESSORThe Department of Molecular BioSciences encourages outstanding individuals with research interests that complement existing strengths of the department to apply for a tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor. The department is an exciting interdisciplinary research and training environment located on Northwestern’s Evanston, Illinois campus (http://www.molbiosci.northwestern.edu). Current faculty research interests encompass biochemistry, cell and developmental biology, structural biology and molecular biology.
We are particularly interested in the following areas:
- Molecular and Cellular Biology, especially research utilizing advanced imaging approaches to investigate cellular processes.
- Systems Biology, especially those using high-throughput approaches to study biological complexity, synthetic biology, or developmental networks.
