About the Department

Welcome

Welcome to the Department of Molecular Biosciences

The Department of Molecular Biosciences is an intellectually rich research and teaching environment where outstanding faculty work closely with postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and undergraduates to advance our understanding of fundamental biological processes at a mechanistic level. Research in the department spans a broad range of important areas of life sciences research, including biophysics and structural biology, cell and molecular biology, genetics and genomics, developmental biology, and stem cells and regeneration.  Our research mission is supported by cutting edge research centers and state of the art facilities that help drive exciting new discoveries about molecules, cells and organisms.

Please feel free to contact us to learn more about our research, resources and programs of study.
